I hear you saying, “I thought that the Feast and Festivals were for the Jews of the Old Testament and not for the Christians.” People call them the “feasts of the Jews” or “Feasts of the Old Testament. I pray this information will enlighten you concerning the feasts and festivals’ relevancy to Christians. Let’s start by looking at what the Lord Himself says concerning the topic in Leviticus 23: 1-2:
Then Adonai spoke to Moses saying: 2 “Speak to Bnei-Yisrael, and tell them: These are the appointed moadim of Adonai, which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations—My moadim.
In these verses, our LORD, through Moses, speaks to the nation of Israel. He tells them the Levitical feasts and festivals are “Adonai’s appointed moadim (times). He does not call them Jewish feasts or Old Testament festivals. He states that they are His. They belong to Him and were spoken by Him. Even with Him being the Lord of all creation, he has invited us to His celebration.
Let us celebrate with Him! It is such an honor to be invited.
