The elections are over. The people voted, and according to the process set up in the Constitution of the United States, the people have spoken. We elected Donald Trump as President and Mike Pence as Vice President.
One of the questions you hear from people is, “Where does Trump stand in his support of Israel?”
My question for President Trump and all US citizens (and all the people of the world) is, “How does your trust in God relate to His promise to the descendants of Abraham?”
God made a promise to Abraham. In Genesis 15:18 we read:
“in the same day the Lord made a Covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.”
God promised the land in a Covenant. He either keeps His Covenant or he doesn’t. Our relationship with Him is based on His promise. If He breaks the promise to Abraham, He could break the promise to us. A God that you can’t trust is worthless.
My prayer for President Trump, Vice-President Pence, all the people of the United States, and all the people of the world is;
Our trust in the one true and living God grows, and when the world around us is in chaos, we are steadfast in our faith in His promises and love for us.
Let us show our support for Israel and God’s promises.
