BlessIsrael – Spiritually
As I said in an earlier entry, there are four specific areas in which we can bless Israel. They are spiritually, physically, socially, and politically. I list spirituality first as it is the most important and covers all the rest.
Remember that “we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing the darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.” (Eph 6:12). Our blessing of Israel begins in the spiritual realm with prayer. Satan will do anything within his power to keep God’s promise to regather Israel from happening. Satan understands and knows how to use the nature of man in his evil plans. He knows how to tempt and deceive us into doing his work, even when we don’t realize it. He uses human beings in the physical world to accomplish his plans.
David in Psalm 122 tells us to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” (Psalm 122:6) We know that real peace will only come through our Messiah Yeshua.
We need to be praying for the salvation of the unbelieving Jewish souls.
We also need to pray for the believers living in the land of Israel. They are feeling the pain of discrimination, both physically and economically.
